Every year thousands of homes are attacked by termites or other wood destroying pests. Home purchasers need to know if these pests are present before investing their money. Therefore it is wise to have the property inspected by a representative of a licensed pest control company who can detect the presence of wood destroying pests and can provide a report on his findings.
Why should I order an inspection?
Every home should be inspected at least once per year for termites and other wood destroying insects, such as carpenter ants. Homes for sale should be inspected for termites and other wood destroying insects prior to closing. You or your agent can request a Wood Destroying Insect (WDI) report from CVA Pest Control. If you are an existing home owner and suspect a problem or just want peace of mind, don’t hesitate to call for an inspection.
What Does The Inspection Entail?
A qualified representative from the CVA Pest Control will perform the inspection. We inspect all visible areas of the structure which are readily accessible. If we find evidence of an infestation we will report the evidence on a specified form to the owner or person purchasing the inspection.
What If Evidence Of An Infestation Is Found?
CVA Pest Control will recommend the appropriate treatment to control the pest. For termites, a treatment is usually warranted for a year, meaning if an infestation is found while the warranty is in effect, CVA Pest Control will retreat at no charge to you.
